Royal Institute of British Architecs

We were asked to supply and install a horizontal safety line system that does not penetrate the roof on the Portland Place Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) building to ensure routine maintenance is being carried out safely on the roof top..

The Royal Institute of British Architects champions better buildings, communities and the environment through architecture and their members.

The project consisted of 3 number 20 metre horizontal safety lines, 1 number 35 metre horizontal safety line and 1 number Weightanka / mobile man anchor

Also installed were 2 wall mounted fall arrest lines this gave the maintenance crew full and safe access to the whole roof area.

We provided all the appropiate P.P.E needed to work in conjunction with this safety equipment as well as  training to all of the maintenance team.
